Dear Chazhound
Thank you for your kindness in this time of dispair. Sept. 11 2001 will always live in infamy with me as it happened the day before my son's 1 year birthday. I have to say it was hard to celebrate the life of my son when so many people (especially the children) lost theirs. I would also like to thank you for posting the comments of your other readers, there words
echoing my thoughts and feelings. Thank you again for all that you do to make us smile and in helping us to not forget the fallen, and being one of the few sights to give us what we want now....not laughter but patriotism and unity.
Michelle
Chazhound,
I wanted to thank you for sending me all of these sympathetic photos and poems. So many websites sent me funny stuff, that I (of course) didn't take to hilariously. But you understood that no one was really in the mood to be funny and I thank you for that.
God bless you and the U.S.A.
Thank you for giving us a chance to speak out.i would like to send my condolences to all the family and friends of the people we lost 9/11/01.i am shocked that such a thing could happen to us or any other
nation.please don't give up hope,i truly believe there are more survivours and god will pull them through.god bless each and every one of them and those that struggle to set them free.
Barbara
I live in Okla. and I could not believe what came across my T.V. on Sept. 11. I was so horrified that it could happen here in the U.S.A. but not amazed the the AMERICAN people pulled together and are standing
strong!!! We not only need to pray for the injured and lost, thier families and friends, but also for our President who has to make some very difficult decission he has to make in the very near future. God be with all of these people and the people of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA because she is one PROUD NATION that hass the leadership to take down any and all
thorns in our sides. Remember what the GRAND OLE' FLAG stands for.
God Bless America, she's a PROUD all Lady
My heart and prayers go out to all the people in NewYork and to everyone who was personally affected by this horrible and violent act by cowards. All Americans have been affected and we will never forget this
day. However,IF you notice, what is getting us through these times? PRAYER and PATRIOTISM... people PULLING TOGETHER AS ONE...without thought of race, color or creed. We have been reawakend to what this great nation stands for. If we can get prayers over the airways from our government, it is time to get it back into our schools and functions of activities. Though each religion could be affected, a general or combined effort could be meeshed together as one..as we stand together now. GOD BLESS AMERICA! (I wasn't even going to open your sight because I didn't want "jokes" trying to cover this tragedy! I hit the wrong button and got it anyway! I'm glad I did. TUESDAY is suppose to be 'candle light rememberence day! At 7 p.m. everyone is to step out their doors with lighted candles and light up our country with unity.
Thanks,
Pauline
There is a reason for everything but for the love of god i can not figure it out. I pray every day that the ones who has lost their love one can belive and carry on . American is our home and they come in our back yard and they didn't care who they hurt, may god lay his hand on all of us. For we will not fall!!!!! Just all of us have got to have faith. May god speed be with each and
everyone of us thank you all for being there with this for us all

Ever since Monday, my heart has just been crushed over these terrorists acts!! My heart is breaking for the families of the victims and for the victims that were found alive. I don't understand why some
crazed idiot would do something like this to our country, when we take in people from other countries, give them jobs and money and teach them all our techniques, then they turn around and use it against us!!!!! It really makes me mad and I hope that this terrorist is punished twice as bad as what he did to our fellow countrymen. God bless the USA!!!! I've
done everything that I can to help ease the pain of the victims families and my thoughts and prayers are with them 24 hours a day!!! And the real heroes of this country are the firemen, paramedics, police officers and others that have donated their time to help the people of New York !!!! How dare this idiot to do this to such a wonderful country and he'll get his just due, if not by us, then by God !!!!
MSJUDY - Courtland, MS.
I would not want to be in the evil ones shoes when our Lord comes to judge the people on earth. What a horror their soul have to look forward to. They will suffer the pain they caused each and everyone. So many lives to account for. Spit up in the air, and it falls back down on you!

It's really hard to be happy at a time like this. But this goes out to all the adults with children. At times like this, we must remember that small children do not understand what is really going on. We must
try very hard to entertain them and keep their minds filled with happiness, not dwell on the bad. It's hard for me to not worry about what will happen next, but that is what we have to do. Tonight I attended our local county fair. Not because I really wanted to do it, but because my daughter needed to have something to put a smile on her face and take her
mind off of the bad things that can happen. She has had many questions about why this one man hates us so much that he would kill innocent people like that. The best I could come up with is that he is NUTS, and that all people from that part of the world are not like him. Let's keep our chins up, and try to go on with our daily activities as much as possible for the sake of our children. They are to young to be stripped of their happy childhoods because of one MADMAN!! God bless America!! Bush is right. We have to rid the world of this type of faceless, cowardly terroism. I love America and to me this has hurt us all, but with the grace of God, it will not stop us!!
Linda
I am not very good with words, so please bare with me, I am from Canada, Sudbury Ont. I just wanted to add my compliments to you for not putting those funnies out that we all do enjoy. Now was not the time. I'm in Illinois and don't know anyone in NYC but can feel their pain as they continue on searching for the lost loved ones. I watch it on TV and am awed at all those workers going on every day with hope. We are a united country and I believe I see more of this than I've seen in a very long time. This makes my heart glad.
Anne
To All on your staff,
I want to thank you for one of, if not,the best tribute to 09-11-01. It will hang on my wall so I'll never forget.
Again, thank you,
Stanley G.
This tragedy has touched many lives around the world, not just in america, let's not forget the lives it affected the most, the children. Not only of the victims but of all the children of america. I've had to explain a lot of things to my boys who are 15 and 10, but trying to explain why someone could hate america this bad to kill thousands of innocent people was the hardest thing i've ever had to do,especially since we still haven't heard from a good friend who worked at the wtc.who knows how this will affect our kids in the future, only time will tell. Our prayers go out to all the families of the victims, and to the people involved in the rescue efforts. Our hearts are with you.

I am from Belgrade Montana. Even though we are miles away from tragedys, we feel it too. I went to a parade this morning and you would not believe the banners that read GOD BLESS AMERICA, UNITED WE STAND ETC. the sight that brought tears to my eyes, was that of a young 4H riding group. The first horse was riderless with backward cowboy boots in the stiruups of the saddle. Thier banner read: REMEMBER THOSE WE HAVE LOST.....BUT ALSO REMEMBER THOSE WE STILL HAVE!!!! AMEN to that! Our high school band wore red white and blue ribbons around their left arms for those who have
been lost, and those who are suffering today.(remember the yellow ribbons?!!) Our fire departments float consisted simply of kitchen chairs dressed in firemans uniforms with firemans boots by the chairs in memory of their fallen commrads in NYC.
This will never be forgotten!
Tuesday, September 11th was by far the worst day for all Americans. Say a prayer for those who died, those who are lost and all of the relief workers in NYC, Washington and PA. America will survive. For those in
the Military, may GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Teresa
I read your words of concern tonight; and how you didn't feel funny. Then you promised to be another time. You sound like a wonderful, kind, sensitive person.
God Bless You,

I don't feel funny either and am enjoying all the "American" pages I am receiving. I am saddened by the fact that although we as a nation have come together during the tragedy, we also have some who are taking out
their anger and hostility on innocent victims because of their nationality. For the most part, people are here because they want a better life for themselves and their families. No one can trace their roots to Michigan, New York, Minnesota etc. My family is German and
French Canadian, but that doesn't make me a Nazi. I am an American, and very proud of my country and my freedom, and it hurts me to see innocent people in our country being abused because of our anger. We are all Americans first. There are good and bad in all races. I only pray that as Americans we will realize that taking our anger out on innocent Americans is not what God would want. We will prevail, the ones responsible for this will pay and our flag will still stand for freedom, but lets not take it out on fellow Americans because of their nationality. It doesn't mean they are terroists. Don't make them live in fear of their
lives or the lives of their families.
Cheryl
My heartfelt prayers go out to all the victim's families and friends who have lost loved ones, to the search and rescue teams, and all others involved in this tragedy. I pray there will be more survivors found. I pray that God will continue to give strength to those working on the rescue teams, and hope and comfort to those families who do not yet know the fate of the missing.
Ruth
We are flying our Flag at half staff im memory of those lost & still missing. Our hearts & prayers go out to everyone touched by the senseless, cowardly acts upon our friends &loved ones.
May GOD Bless America Again.

Hey I don't think America is feeling at funny right now so don't be down on yourself if your page isn't so funny right now. Miss Liberty is standing tall & proud in the harbor & even though her tear stained face she gives us all hope and reassurance that in the end we will rise again. Sure we now have a big scar or wound so to speak but sometimes when we get hurt & then begin the healing process we are a better stronger person for it. So we will come back a better stronger America more united & more determined to do what is right for liberty & justice. Stand tall stand proud & say GOD BLESS AMERICA OUR HOME SWEET HOME GOD BLESS AMERICA OUR HOME SWEET HOME, HOME OF THE BRAVE STAND BESIDE US & GUIDE US THROUGH THE NIGHT WITH YOUR LIGHT FROM ABOVE
I say again God Bless America & God bless you and your page
Thanks,

Yes, it is reassuring to know that so many people from other countries share our grief and sadness. I agree with the person in the letter I have just read, "United we stand, divided we fall and in God we
trust" We need to remember that, in order that more innocent people are not persecuted because of the deeds of a few wicked people. There are so many good people from all faiths, nationalities, and different colored skin. These people have been taken over by Satan himself. I pray for the victims families, and for all of us as well, as we are all victims. May God bless America in the days, weeks, months and years to come, as we surely need his blessings now, more than ever.

It is a terrible thing that has happened to this country, one that has always opened its doors and hearts to those in need. Now that this has happened, one as to wonder what is in the minds of these insane people who have done this to us. My prayers go out to all of those who are waiting
for words of their loved ones. It is nice to know that a company, such as yours, has taken to heart the hurt that all are feeling at this time. Yes everyone needs a good laugh sometime, but now is the time to think of others and not ourselves. God be with all at this time of great sorrow.
What a great idea, I just wanted to thank everyone for opening there warm hearts!! I to have lost my loved ones in New York !! Brian, who was 33, and Bill, 45!! The best damn stock boys in the world Love you guys

I have just spent the last 10 minutes reading all of the comments by my fellow Funny-Pop Pals! I, too, live in NW Florida, and our community has a STRONG military presence. And, believe me, when these people get moving, they do not "close ranks". All arms are open as well as hearts and
homes. We are all coming together will remain true to our God and our country!
LET'S GET IT ON!!! :)

Hey<
I know what happened was a very great tragidy my prayers and deepest sympothy goes out to everyone who has lost a loved one. I feel what you feel I think that our country will recover as a country and hopefully nothing else will happen like this ever again. I never though something like this
would have happened in my generation but since it has I think everyone is gonna be a different person and I hope this doesnt turn into discrimination against ALL muzlims cuz I know that you all feel greif but not all of them had anything to do with this so I pray that nothing like Pearl Harbor happens cuz what would that prove?? Thats what they want us to do..they want us to crumble and fight back. So i hope everyone realizes just what they are believing with deepest sorrow

Hello from Washington State,
I wish I knew what to say. The whole country, I believe, is in shock. I live a very long ways from where you are in New York, I have never even been to your wonderful state, don't even know anyone who lives there, but let me add that it doesn't matter. I still cry when I think of the devestion and loss of life, that you have suffered.
I live in a very small farming town, and we who live so very far away, may go on with our lives, but you are not far from our thoughts and are always in our prayers. We have the televion on at the office all day because we are waiting for survivors as well.
We all love this country ,and are very proud of it. You in New York can be very proud of yourselves you have come togather supported each other in a time of great need. Coming togather in hard time no matter your race or religion, it's our deversity, that's makes America what it is.
I'm not forgetting All the people in Washington D.C. who have lost loved ones and fellow workers. My heart goes out to you as well. Remember the rest of us near and far are with you all in our prays and in our thoughts daily.
May God Bless You All,Families, Firemen, Police, National Guard and Medical personal as well.

I am not american, yet i felt great sadness at the terrible incident on Tuesday 11th September, 2001. And I think that FunnyPop dealed with the matter in a very compassionate, considrate and professional way. I really do feel for the families and friends who are missing loved ones, it is a great tragedy. The people who organised this act of wickedness will not get away with doing it!!They will never experience the pain that the families and friends of the innocent victims have and they will never be not guilty in the eye's ofthe law or the people of America and the world!
I have not written this message to tell you that we are all on your side over there cos you already know that, but just to offer my
condolensces.
Thank you.
Georgina, aged 16, Bournemouth, South UK
What a sad week, I cry everyday when I turn on the T.V. or radio or even the computer. I just want to let everyone that reads these know that your in my heart, prayers and thoughts everyday. Now we need to stand strong and show that we are not weak and we will stand as united nation, brave and stong. GOD BLESS!!
Amy
Please do not apologize for having respect for the loss of lives of so many. It is better to know that there are many out there that has love and compassion in them. Some of the sites that I get have trash on them today and that hurts to know that people are so self centered that they cannot realize that something terrible has happened to out country and we need to gather together to pray and cry not to sit and look and read jokes.
Thanks for the compassion that you have shone.
So many have said it so well. Just let me add my thank you. Let us all light our candles and send our prayers to heaven. God bless us all.
Sheila
Tonight light your candel. Let our light be God's light for all the world to see.
Dear fellow Americans,
I was so saddened to hear of the terrible tragedy that has taken so many lives. I hope we as Americans can find peace again in the wonderful country we live in. We must all stick together as one to see that it is made possible. All the people who lost loved ones in the terrible event are in my prayers and hope they find peace! god will take care of us!
As for we are Americans strong & proud!!!
I am 13, I think this whole thing is just weird. When i first heard about it I didn't even know what hijacking was I thought is was some dumb thing our teachers wanted us to watch. But, as I listened...I heard the reporters say something about a plane hitting the world trade center in new york. I knew my aunt worked in ny, and I was so scared. When I got home, I asked my mother if my aunt worked there. She asid that she does, and she had not heard from her. We still have not heard from her since, no one has. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
I just want to say that anyone who has family or freinds that were involved in this, I know how you feel.
I know how angry, and frightened you are, no matter what your age is. I thank god everyday that I am alive and well. I have my whole family right here with me. After this, I still do, and everyone should because you never know when tragedy may strike.
Jessie
God Bless the victims, families, and heroes Of the tragic events of Tuesday September 11 2001, But most of all God Bless America.

I am sending my prayers out to those in need right now!! In many ways we are all being affected by this tragedy and standing together will be the only way to fight our way back to humanity..... Everyday since
Tues. September 11, 2001, I wake up and find the situation even more unbareable!! It is plastered all over the T.V. right now and we are constantly reminded of the massive loss!!! I greeve more today because everyday it becomes more of a reality and there is no going back... I pray for the men and women who are trying so hard to restore New York and hope
that when all is said and done, they can live with all they have seen and been through! I know personally, the more I see on the television, the more heart broken I become for all of you in New York City and Washington. If you feel you are having trouble coping, please share it with someone because I am certain that they feel the same way you do.
With lots of love and prayers,
Carla
This world has suffered a great tragedy and to show that we have not lost our spirit we ask that people around the world light a candle at 7pm.(9/14/01) God bless everyone and especially those who lost their
lives in this event.
Thank You.
Elizabeth
I am a Canadian citizen living and married to an American. I miss my home country alot but I have come to admire the strength of the American people. This is a tragedy that will be felt for yrs but we will come thru as we always have. I pray for all those touched by this and also for the
Muslims and East Indians in this country. They are not to blame for a few cowards acts. They chose this country to live in and they love it as much as we all do. We need to come together in this and not let those cowards tear our great country apart by causing us to go against our neighbours.
Luv to all
Canuck
Just glad to see that everyone is joining together in this time of tradegy. All our prayers go out to those people in New York. Someone has got to pay for what they have done. We are AMERICA, we will

Dear friends,
My heart goes out to all of the friends and loved ones that have someone missing or has lost a very special person in their life. I have all of them in my prayers. My god bless and keep them in his everloving arms. We all need to stand together in this tragic time, and be as one nation under god, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Also stand behind our president of these united states. We know he will do what is necessary to find and prosecute the people that are responsible for these acts of terrorism.
May god bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless
This has been a very sorrowful and shocking few days. All our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and families with everyone involved. Together we as a people of the united states can show the world that what our country stand for can not and will not be broken, by the vicious acts of some people. Be proud that we live in this free country, and that we do from this day forward. Let us never forget those that we have lost and their love ones who have been left behind.
Dolly
GOD BLESS US ALL.........today is a day of remeberance for all who died. Lets remember the ultimate one who died for us also......God himself, and with him all things are possible. He will take care of these murders of innocent people. I am sure. But for today we need to concentrate on getting the numbness revived to feelings and help our country UNITE so that we may carefully get our freedom, security, and our lives back on track.
I AM PRAYING FOR EACH AND EVERYONE OF US.
Kim
Craz hound,
I've enjoyed your jokes in the past, I will in the future, I'm glad you've shown repect in this time of grief. I was in total shock, this has to be a horror movie, it is so unbelievable. I pray
for our whole country. I was in shock, now I am totally infurriated. I wrote a short poem and would like you to read it.
Sept. 11th 2001
An Eye For An Eye
God did not place us here to fight,
God placed us here, so love we might
All he made, from air we breathe,
But, now today, the Lord must grieve,
Like back in Nineteen Forty One,
The Lords "WILL" has been undone,
God did not put us here to kill,
For that has never been his will,
And now the free world, protect we must,
Loved ones, and this Countries trust,
So stand by us, if friend you be,
If not, you are the enemy,
For God will guide, this you'll see,
God "Means For Man", was to be FREE.
We all have to stand and stay together, no jokes, the moods just not here. I love my country, and hate to see her or her people hurt. We have always tried to help other countries in their times of need, do they ever help us?
Thanks for listening.
Debbie
Dear Chazhound,
I feel the same. I just want to say to everyone out there that we are a strong nation. We will conquer this evil and in the end we will still be standing tall and proud. As an Oklahoman, I know the pain they feel in NYC and Washington. I hoped and prayed that I would never see anything like the OKC Bombing again but I have and again I deal with the all too familiar feelings I felt then. I went to the site with other volunteers and I can not express the way it made me feel. The sounds and smells are things that forever stay in your memory. I send my deepest sympathy and my prayers. I also send my understanding. May God prevail and may he guide
the leaders of our country in the decisions they have to make in this time of horror.
God Bless America!!

So now is it hope that keeps your faith alive or is it you faith that keeps your hope alive. If you do not know one way or the other then you need to take a look at where you are and why you are there. You must know for sure inside to be sure where to put you FAITH and HOPE. I am a believer and I
do know.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and people who have lost their loved ones in such a horible tragedy. Also to the firemen and firewomen and all the others who lost their lives helping. I have a
very special friend and his family in Ny and I was so scared for him as he was talking to a man at the towers just 15 minutes before they were hit. He is safe and I thank God for this. The people who did this need to be caught and punished...so many lives have been destroyed by this. Let's all join together and hold our heads up high and show these people they can't
destroy Great Americans...they only brought us closer together.
God Bless each and everyone of US and God Bless America...Together We Stand Forever
Becky
I think or shall I say this tragedy has affected us all whether we are in the states or not. I for one am Canadian but have a lot of American friends. I have a friend I am waiting to hear from for they have a brother that works and lives in New York. It is a sad time all over the world. I can't begin to understand how anyone can take other innocent peoples lives. I thought we all have rights. This also has affected me since my Mother is in Toronto having treatments there and is suppose to be home on Wednesday but if our airports are not totally back to normal by then who knows when she will be home.As is the states security all over in every airport will be under heavy searchs and security. I hope your President and Government find these selfish people that did this horrendos thing and they pay for what they have done. May God Bless you all and just remember we are all thinking of you and cheer as they continue to find survivors. My prayers and thought are with you all.
Hugs to all from Canada.
Barb
It is heart warming to know that we as a nation, still after such a Horrific Tragedy, pull together to support and share in the sorrow and pain..and try to make the best of what has happened. I have 3 small sons
and to even attempt to explain what has happened brings tears to my eyes, and even my heart. I do not know any one from NY, but have a very dear friend who is a SGt in the Army, stationed in Kosovo right now..to know he may be going to 'Defend' our country 'again' makes me proud to be an American.
GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.!
Tammie
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.....whether American, Canadian or all others. We here in Canada have also set aside Friday Sept.14 to recognize all those affected by this tragedy. We have placed American flags in our windows, hand drawn by our children. From that same window we see our Canadian flag flying proudly. No words or action can fully express our deepest sympathy. I hope you can find strength just knowing we all stand together!
With hope & love,

When the tragic act of violance happen Sept 11th, The last thing I wanted to see when I open my emails was jokes. Thank you for being so caring about our feelings. I read you comments for Sept 12th, and I see alot of people here in America and all over the world feel the same. It broke my heart to see what happen Tuesday. To know they took our own planes and people to use as a weapon against us. That has to be the lowest act against human beings. Our hearts and prayers are with the families and friends who have loved ones killed, hurt and missing, in New York and in Washington DC. We are all there for you, here in Texas.
God Bless,
Judy
And thank you for providing us with some light moments in normal times. Yes, we will overcome, we always do ! It is funny to hear some of the comments from Americans about our flag. Many people do not realize that a flag is a Symbol of a Country, and what makes a Country? Of course, it is the Citizens of that particular Country, the Human Beings, who live and stand behind what this flag represents and means to them. Maybe, you do not remember the mental state of our Country, when President Reagan took over. But, will always be eternally grateful to him for
bringing back the love of Country, and respect for our flag. So, I say: Thank you, from my heart, President Reagan!
Also, may the High and Mighty inspire President Bush, at this time of tribulation, into the best course to follow, and the strength to carry it out.
Love, Light and Peace, always, to all !

It is uplifting to see so many who have the humanity that is so needed at this terrible time. It confirms that the horror we have watched, and continue to watch, was perpetrated by truly sick minds. Bless you for not "being funny" at this time. It was the best decision you could have
made.

Good morning. I just wanted to sound off on all the recent bomb threats. You know I think our country has been through so much terror this week. It is really a shame that people call in these crank calls. What are these people thinking putting their fellow Americans (assuming they are Americans
also) through the terror of thinking the building they are in is going to blow. It outrages me every time I hear yet another building being evauated for a potential disaster. I really wish someone who get the message out and make them wake up. This is a time we should be pulling together. For the most part, we are. But we have a few who evidently do not care! I love this country and what this country was founded on. ONE NATION UNDER GOD!
Thank you for allowing me to vent. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR COUNTRY!!! :-)

One Nation under God... How profound those words are if given the actual thought of allowing Him to guide and lead our Nation's Leaders into a final resolution to eliminate the evil that thrives, as a parasite, in this world as we've come to know it today...Yes. God DOES and WANTS to bless America if we will allow Him this Sovereignty. We continue to pray for all those who have endured such great losses and for America. God Bless America, indeed!
Thank you.

This tragedy had to have been well planned. I hope we catch these people and show them that we are strong enough to overcome these terrible deaths. Now everyone will remember that day as 911 since the date was 9/11. But what I want to know is did they plan it for that date or was it just a
coincedence? They should pay.

Believe me, I fully understand why you aren't putting your e-zine out due to this tragedy. It's just as well, because not too many people I know are feeling too funny right now, if you know what I mean.

I just wanted to say that everyone in Canada shares the pain that everyone in the United States is feeling. I can't comprehend this tragedy at all. I know I will never forget the images of horror or the images of heroism I have seen since September 11 2001. I feel absolutely heartsick at what I
percieve to be an act of complete & utter cowardice & barbarism. My deepest sympathies go out to all those families who have lost loved ones in this terrible & senseless tragedy. Let me close by saying that I hope this bastard & his followers get exactly what they deserve for what they have done.
The whole of the United States are in my prayers.
I agree, No one has their cone-head sharpened to a fine tip today. We are Americans and we will come together as the "UNITED NATIONS" and take care of what needs to be done! We are all in the same boat, I would almost bet that we are not gonna sink.
What do you think?
Friday Night at 7:00 p.m. EST (4PM PT) step out of your door, stop your car, or step out of your establishment and light a candle. We will show the world that Americans are strong and united together against terrorism. Please pass this to everyone on your e-mail list. We need to reach everyone across the United States quickly. The message: WE STAND UNITED - WE WILL NOT TOLERATE TERRORISM!
Thank you.
